Although many people have been advertising the new trailer for the forthcoming movie Battleship, by suggesting Rihanna appears in the clip, the truth is she barely does. Yes Rihanna does star in the film and will be seen in it when it is released but she appears in passing in the trailer and not as extensive as advertised by many.
However, the Battleship trailer does show many of the other cast members who star in the movie, including True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgard, British legend Liam Neeson and sexy up and comer Brooklyn Decker. Unfortunately, as stated, Rihanna is hardly seen in the trailer.
Battleship centres around an armada of ships that must take on and destroy an enemy of unknown origin. Battleship is set to be released to the UK cinemas on April 20, 2012 and will then be released in the US theatres on May 18, 2012. Check out the trailer below.
